Accessibility Statement
Built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Here's what that means, and how to reach us if something falls short.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
The Short Version
We want everyone to be able to use this site. It's built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA: it works with a keyboard, works with screen readers, holds up at high zoom, and respects your reduced-motion setting. Hit a barrier? Email hi@securique.io and we'll fix it.
Our Commitment
We're a security firm. We care about doing things properly, and that includes making sure our website works for people of all abilities, including those who rely on assistive technology like screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.
Accessibility isn't a one-time checkbox. We treat it as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain this site.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for making web content more accessible. This site is designed and built to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
We consider the site to substantially conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Substantially conforms" means the site meets the standard across the board, with the possible exception of a small number of items noted below. This assessment is based on our own review rather than a formal third-party audit.
What We've Done
Specific measures built into this site include:
- Semantic structure: landmarks, a logical heading order, and meaningful page titles so the content is easy to navigate.
- Keyboard access: every interactive element is reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to main content" link.
- Color contrast: text and meaningful interface elements are checked against the WCAG AA contrast thresholds on our light, warm manila-and-ink palette.
- Not color alone: information is never conveyed by color by itself; marks, icons, and text carry the meaning too.
- Reduced motion: smooth scrolling and the page entrance animations are switched off automatically when your system requests reduced motion, so nothing moves unless you're comfortable with it.
- Responsive and zoom-friendly: the layout adapts down to small screens and remains usable at up to 200% zoom without loss of content.
- Labels and alternatives: form fields have visible labels, images and icons have appropriate text alternatives, and decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Clear focus and feedback: the contact form announces its status, and errors are communicated in text.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, a couple of areas may fall short for some users. We're being upfront about them:
- Spam protection on the contact form: our contact form uses hCaptcha, a third-party tool we don't fully control. If the captcha is a barrier for you, skip the form entirely and email us at hi@securique.io. You'll reach the same person.
- Entrance animation: each page's hero briefly fades and rises into place when the page loads. It's purely decorative, carries no information, and is fully disabled when reduced motion is requested; content simply appears in place instead.
If you run into something else, tell us. Real feedback is the fastest way these get fixed.
Compatibility
This site is built to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari) and common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver) on up-to-date operating systems.
The contact form needs JavaScript to submit, but all page content remains readable with JavaScript turned off. If JavaScript is unavailable, you can always reach us by email.
How We Assess This Site
We assess accessibility through a mix of methods: manual keyboard-only navigation, screen-reader checks, automated accessibility tooling, and color-contrast verification. This is a self-evaluation. We re-check the site when we make significant changes.
Feedback and Contact
If you have trouble using any part of this site, or you have a suggestion, we want to hear it.
Email: hi@securique.io
Subject line suggestion: "Accessibility" so it gets routed quickly.
We aim to respond within 5 business days. If you need information from this site in a different format, ask and we'll provide it.
Changes to This Statement
We'll update this statement as the site evolves and as we improve accessibility. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
